Description
A lovely piece of history dating back to 1898 (engraved at the top), fully hallmarked by Birmingham assay office and maker J.F – James Fenton.
This solid 9ct yellow gold medal/fob would have been traditionally worn on an Albert watch chain and shows a good level of detailing especially in blue and red enamel. All in very good condition crisp and clear to see with the eye.
In enamel across the piece it states ‘BIRMINGHAM COLUMBARIAN SOCIETY EST 1864’ and to the reverse the initials AG are engraved.
