Founded in 1823 by William Dick the Royal Veterinary College of Edinburgh is part of the university.
This medal is a student presentation piece awarded to T T Jack in the 1901-02 session for Anatomy.
The front of the medal has a triangle at each quarter with an outline of Edinburgh castle in two and lions in the others.
A significant piece of history over 100 years old – a piece of great interest.
